If you mean a type that can’t have a constructor or destructor, then I don’t believe so.

The C implementation known as “C with Classes” is supposed to have brought member functions to structs before gaining popularity as ISO C++.

That’s a good question! It seems to me that it is more a question of layout and independant from the struct/class debate, especially since PODs are allowed to have private members and methods. What do you think?
