Jonathan Boccara's blog
Hi! My name is Jonathan Boccara.
I’m a principal engineering lead at Murex, where I’m in charge of the equity derivatives development team. I’ve been working on C++ as an everyday job on large codebases for over 6 years, and my focus is on writing expressive code, which is the topic of Fluent C++.
Some exploration on the Functional side of things helped me see programming under a different angle by experimenting on projects with Haskell. This may come across in several posts, although this blog is not about functional programming in particular.
Also, I love making presentations.
I do dailies every single day in my company (@Work_at_murex), where I teach C++. I’ve also spoken at various conferences and events. If you’d like me to speak at your conference or event, or if there is anything else I could do for you, I’d be delighted to get in touch.
You can also follow me on Twitter or even better, subscribe to the mailing list below, to be the amongst the first ones to know when something new comes up on Fluent C++ (and that happens quite often, though I won’t spam you!).
This blog is there to bring you value. Let me know what you would love to read or watch on the theme of clear code in C++, and I’ll do what I can to make it happen on Fluent C++.
